We have read much about ancient civilizations in our history textbooks and felt proud of how far we have progressed through various civilizations. But looking at our way of life now, I think that was a better way of life.

The list below explains how ancient civilizations had a much healthier lifestyle than us -

  1. Hunting and Gathering — In some parts of the world, the tradition of hunting food and moving around ( preferably called nomads) continues. But it was more common in the Paleolithic period (2.5 million years ago). People ate thin meat, wild vegetation, natural honey, nuts, etc., all unprocessed and natural.

Also, they didn’t have permanent houses because they had to keep moving in search of food. Hence, no trees were cut and no land was used. Imagine most of our problems solved.

2. Use of various tools/weapons — During the Stone Age, people created their weapons like axes, spears, bows arrows, etc. Imagine creating weapons yourself is so much skill development in every aspect which helps us solve various problems and use…
